Cruces de Mayo 
Tijdens Cruces de Mayo (Meikruisen), gevierd rond 3 mei, viert men de komst van de lente, de religieuze traditie van de kruisvinding door Sint-Helena, en lokale cultuur. Buurten versieren enorme kruisen met bloemen, planten en fruit, en vieren dit met muziek, dans (sevillanas) en lokale lekkernijen op straat.2026

Cremà
Alicante’s grand festival will reach its climax at midnight on June 24th with the launching of the monumental firework palm tree from Mount Benacantil, marking the beginning of the magical Nit de la cremà (the night of the burning).
Fireworks Competition (25-29 June 2026)
And as a grand finale, the spectacle will continue by the sea from June 25th to 29th, with the nights of the International Fireworks Competition at Postiguet Beach.
